Speculaases

In holiday season 2018, 2019 or 2020, I had speculaases bought from Aldi for snack. They are a type of spiced shortcrust biscuits made from flour, sugar, butter, pepper, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom and nutmeg.
